Nepalese request from Cyprus - Let us return home

How do I pay rent of  a house when the month is up? We don't have money, how can we eat? College, University fees are yet to be paid. Nepalese students who came to study in Cyprus are now under similar stress.

Rajendra Kumar Moktan had arrived in Cyprus just eight months ago to spend around ten lakhs. The lockdown that accompanies Corona's epidemic has made him think he can't survive in Cyprus. So he wants to return to Nepal immediately, rather than taking stress in Cyprus.

'No work, no education. There is no option to return home after having problems with food. Even if the lockdown is extended for a month, it cannot be imagined here. Instead, it would have been better to return home immediately, ”Moktan told.

Almost 5,000 to 7,000 students who have come to Cyprus for study, are not only free, but now they have problems with food. Therefore, a large number of Nepalese students have expressed their desire to return home, said NRN Cyprus.

After being unemployed due to lockdown, they have problems. Most of the students expressed their desire to return to Nepal by contacting related authority.

“Russia, India has also repatriated its citizens from Cyprus. Nepalese have contacted the embassy saying they would like to return. But why does the government not look serious? ”Gautam asked.
